I had an amazing experience spending time in Marseille this summer, and that is where I met up with Margot and we shot Hateia’s latest swimwear. Hateia draws inspiration from the timeless elegance and charm of the French Riviera while focusing on high-quality craftsmanship and sustainability. The pieces look effortless to wear, but shooting them you can see their signature haute couture approach to swimwear.
There’s something about the coastline that strips everything back, for me I think that has a lot to do with feeling you get when you look into the horizon. Marseille’s distinctive white rocks, clear mediterranean waters and intense light was the only option as a backdrop for this shoot. Hateia manufactures in Marseille and opened its own atelier there and also manufactures the swimwear for Miss France.
